I drove to Aiken, South Carolina to photograph Shadie’s bridals.  After nine years of wedding photography, I always welcome new locations.  I feel that it keeps me thinking and always creating new and amazing images.  Shadie was right about Aiken, it is gorgeous in the spring.  It has that old south, small town feel that I love.  While driving in I scoped out some antique stores….which everyone knows my antique addiction!  I found this one place that had this amazing chair from the early 1900’s.  Later, we drove back by and asked the owner if we could just borrow it, another reason why you have to love a small town.  He not only let us borrow it, he carried it around for us!
