A football family wedding…

Early last year my phone rang and the caller ID said Bob Babich.  My husband and I are Chicago Bears fans and he recognized the name.  Mr. Babich is the linebackers coach for the Chicago Bears and has been coaching with the NFL team for many years.  Caleb about freaked out when I told him his daughter and wife were coming to meet with me about their wedding photography!  During our consultation, I quickly learned that Janie’s brother coaches for the Carolina Panthers and her fiance, Cameron, was about to sign with the Minnesota Vikings.  As we approached their rehearsal dinner, I was prepped on a few more coach surprises!  Cameron’s dad coached for the Indianapolis Colts, his brother coaches for Stanford University, and his uncle is Norv Turner is the head coach for the San Diego Chargers!  It’s absolutely crazy and amazing!  Talk about a football family!  At the wedding, we did a group picture (shown below) of all the coaches and there were 27!

Everyone was wonderful to work with and we have had so much fun getting to know their family.  In October we were able to fly up to Chicago and go to a Bears vs. Panthers game with the Babich family!  We were both in heaven.  For us it was so neat to see underneath the stadium (all the football players cars…I’m a car-oholic) and meet everyone’s family.  They were able to get us right on the football field to watch the warm ups and pre-game activities.
